Best Time to Visit
February to July is the dry season when animals gather at waterholes. Leopards are spotted year-round, but early mornings are prime.
Getting There
Yala is about 5–6 hours from Colombo by car. The nearest town is Tissamaharama, which has plenty of accommodation.
